Woman Rear-Ends Officer's Vehicle

A woman was arrested by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's department after she rear-ended a parked deputy's vehicle, causing the officer inside to suffer minor injuries.

The woman faces two counts of DUI with property damage for the damage caused to both the vehicle she crashed into, as well as the damage caused when that vehicle was shoved forward and caused additional damage to another, unoccupied, police cruiser.

The officers were responding to a fight call at a local bar when the woman slammed her vehicle into the back of the officer's vehicle. The woman was released after posting $1,000 bail at the county jail.
