Dentist Charged for Two Deaths in DUI Case
A Riverview dentist faces multiple criminal charges after losing control of his vehicle and crashing on a bridge, killing 2 pedestrians and injuring another.
Moye's vehicle crashed into two victims causing their deaths, as well as the injury of another who dove out of the way of the vehicle. When questioned by officers Moye claimed that he had not consumed any alcohol, although a later blood test showed that he had a BAC of .13 percent.
Moye complained about how he was treated by officers and it wasn't until he was read his rights and told that he had caused two deaths that he realized something other than a simple car accident had occurred.
Matthew Moye faces 7 criminal charges including two counts of vehicular homicide, DUI manslaughter, DUI with property damage and personal injury, and one count of battery on a law enforcement officer.
