Earlier this month a Pasco County teacher was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after he was involved in a multiple car accident with two state troopers and a tow truck. This 41 year old man allegedly drove drunk just before midnight in early April when his car hit a Florida Highway Patrol cruiser and the cars. The Highway Patrol cruiser and sheriff's vehicle were parked at the time investigating anther car accident that occurred not long before the collision. The state trooper suffered minor injuries as he was sitting on the side of the vehicle that was side swiped by the teacher. The teacher was also treated for minor injuries. According to reports, the teacher was book at the local Pasco County Jail for six charges of driving under the influence and then was soon released on bail for $3,000.
