Temple Terrace DUI Checkpoint Used to Catch DUI Offenders

In April of 2010, law enforcement officers set up a DUI checkpoint in Temple Terrace to help catch those suspected of driving under the influence. Set right above Fowler Avenue, police of the Temple Terrace Police Department, University of South Florida Police Department and the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office worked cohesively together to bring down the alleged criminals.
Ending at midnight, police then worked throughout the area until four in the morning to catch those who were not caught in the checkpoint net.
The checkpoint was created in hopes of both reducing collisions relating to alcohol usage and to help raise public awareness to the growing problem. If you or a loved one have been arrested or charged of DUI in a similar checkpoint, it is imperative that you do not hesitate to contact a DUI lawyer as quickly as possible. DUI arrests can cause devastating consequences and should not be taken lightly.
